Where we can, we will claim payment directly from your client’s insurance company so they do not have to pay the full amount at the time of treatment. The client will remain liable for any outstanding amount on the bill should their insurance company not provide full payment. The client will need to bring with them:
- A copy of the insurance claim form, signed and completed by the holder of the insurance (a copy is required for each visit)
- A copy of the insurance policy
- A bank statement with proof of latest insurance premium payment
- A means of payment of the excess as this is required at the time of consultation
We are happy to offer free advice to assist you in your evaluation of your cases and whether referral is appropriate for them. Please call the centre to discuss.
▶ I have a preference for my client to be seen by a particular Specialist, will this be accommodated?
Yes, assuming that the case is in that Specialist’s field of expertise. We aim to tailor our service to suit you, so we will aim to accommodate any preference for Specialists. If there is a long wait time and another similarly qualified member of our referral team can see your client sooner, then we will make you aware of this at the time but the final decision is yours.
