Cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) disease is the leading cause of lameness of the canine stifle and has important consequences in terms of morbidity and cost associated with its management. In this lecture you will be given an overview of the anatomy, pathophysiology and diagnosis of CCL disease and the different treatment options (and implications) available.
